Personal Style Blueprint
Build a more useful picture of your proportions
If an outfit looks right online but feels different when you wear it, the missing piece may be clearer proportion and fit guidance. Use a few measurements and simple shopping questions to create a practical Style Blueprint for your next online order.
How to measure
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level.
Natural waist: Measure around your natural waist without pulling the tape tightly.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
High hip: Optional. Measure around the upper hip area below your natural waist.
No weight, BMI, or health assessment. This tool is for fashion guidance only.
Step 1
Your proportions
Enter the measurements you already use when shopping online. Inches are selected by default for the U.S. version.
Your measurements sit near a boundary, so one extra answer can make the result more useful.
Step 2
Your real fit experience
Body shape is only part of the picture. Choose up to two situations that sound most familiar when you shop online.
Step 3
Your style preference
The calculator should support the way you like to dress, not tell you that there is only one correct silhouette.

Understand before you choose
How the Body Shape Calculator works
The calculator looks at relationships among your bust, waist, and hip measurements, with optional high-hip and clarification inputs when they add useful context. It then combines that proportion starting point with your real fit experience, style preference, personal guidance goal, and shopping intent.
Body-shape classifications are fashion and apparel tools, not medical standards. Ana Isabel uses them as a starting point for clearer shopping decisions rather than a rule about what anyone must wear. Apparel research has also shown that body-shape classification systems have limitations, which is why V2.1 avoids pretending that one label explains everything. Read an apparel-research example.
How to measure your body shape
Use a flexible measuring tape. Keep it level rather than pulling tightly. Measure the fullest part of the bust, the natural waist, and the fullest part of the hips and seat. If you add high hip, measure around the upper hip area below the natural waist.
Body shape is not clothing size
Clothing size describes a garment measurement range. Body structure looks at how key measurements relate to one another. Two women can wear the same size and still experience very different proportions, garment behavior, and fit checkpoints.
What if you fall between two shapes?
That is normal. V2 can show a primary structure and an optional secondary influence when your measurements sit near another family. The second result adds nuance without turning your body into a percentage score.
What should you do with the result?
Use it to decide what details deserve attention before ordering: waist placement, shoulder fit, hip room, garment length, fabric behavior, or silhouette. Then compare those details with the information on the individual product page.
Frequently asked questions
Body shape calculator questions
What body shape do I have?
Your result depends on the relationship among your measurements, not one number alone. Ana Isabel V2 groups the final result into Apple, Hourglass, Inverted Triangle, Pear, or Rectangle and may add a secondary influence when useful.
What measurements do I need?
Bust, natural waist, and hips are required. High hip is optional and can add detail to lower-body proportion analysis. V2 may ask one extra visual or midsection question when your result sits near a boundary.
Can my body shape change?
Measurements and proportions can change over time. If your clothing fits differently or your measurements have changed, retake the calculator and use the new result as your current starting point.
Does the Style Blueprint guarantee fit?
No. Fabric, construction, product-specific sizing, stretch, comfort, and personal preference still matter. Use the Blueprint to know what to inspect before buying, then review the individual garment information.
Do I have to dress for my body shape?
No. The calculator offers options, not fixed rules. Personal taste can override a balance-oriented suggestion. If you enjoy a silhouette, that preference remains part of the decision.
Are my measurements stored?
V2 calculates the result in your browser. The default implementation saves the derived Style Blueprint locally for convenience, not the raw measurements. Email integration should use the derived profile rather than sending raw body measurements to marketing tools.
